Who We Help

Kaizen Zenith is designed to meet the needs of members with no symptoms or mild symptoms who seek to maintain and improve brain health. Typically, Zenith members belong to one of three groups—those committed to keeping aging brains healthy, those with mild cognitive impairment, and those who have experienced a traumatic brain injury (TBI) and want to avoid future neurodegenerative disorders.

Brain Wellness:
Long-Term Preventative Care

Brain Wellness: Long-Term Preventative Care

Zenith helps members take preventative measures to help keep their minds healthy and active. Personalized brain wellness profiles and action plans help improve brain function and track changes over time. Prediction combined with prevention also gives peace of mind to members whose family members have Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias. .

Did you know?

By the time a person develops the tell-tale memory symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease, molecular changes have already been at work in the brain for 15-20 years.

Mild Cognitive Impairment

Mild Cognitive Impairment

Mild cognitive impairment (MCI) is the stage between brain wellness and memory disorders including Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. The Zenith Brain Wellness Program can help determine whether changes in memory, language, and thinking are caused by normal aging or are signs of MCI. Early diagnosis provides the opportunity for early prevention and treatment.

Early treatment of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias can roll back the clock on memory symptoms by up to two years.

Sustained Brain Health:
Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)

Sustained Brain Health: Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)

Athletes or military personnel who have experienced multiple head impacts are at risk for developing future memory disorders. Kaizen Zenith provides early diagnosis, preventative plans, and proactive treatment to help TBI patients maintain brain health.

Did you know?

Studies show a correlation between concussion and future brain changes that may lead to more severe brain disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease, chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), and ALS. A Cambridge study reports that even a mild concussion in your 20’s can increase your risk for Alzheimer’s by 17%.

Groundbreaking Risk Assesment – Unique to Kaizen

Kaizen Zenith members are the first in the nation to take advantage of a newly developed precision medicine tool that predicts an individual’s risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease in the next five years.

This novel precision health, machine learning tool, developed by San Diego-based HealthLytix, analyzes dozens of genetic variants—beyond just the ApoE4 gene—in combination with brain imaging, cognitive testing, and additional patient health data to predict Alzheimer’s disease over time.

Heather, daughter of Alzheimer’s patient —

“I didn’t know what to do when my siblings and I first noticed that my mom’s memory was declining. She started by forgetting words, then not long after, she was repeating questions we had just answered. Eventually, we had to put her in a memory care facility because we were concerned for her safety and didn’t know what else to do. The whole experience was more than overwhelming for my sisters and me. It was heartbreaking, because we had to watch while she slowly became less and less of the person we knew, and we had no answers about how to help her. When we finally found Kaizen Brain Center, we saw hope for the first
time, especially after noticing improvement in her short-term memory following her treatments.

“At some point I realized that, although I was relieved to see improvement for my mom, I was starting to question my own future. What if this is genetic? Is this something my kids will have to go through with me? Will I be in this situation again with one of my siblings? With all these questions running through my mind, I cannot even begin to explain how thrilled I was to find out that Kaizen was launching a prevention program.I asked to be put on the wait list because I want to sign up as soon as it becomes available! My membership feels like a gift for my children.”
