Ida Babakhanyan, PhD Neuropsychologist
Dr. Babakhanyan is currently a Neuropsychologist at the Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton Concussion Care Clinic, where she conducts evaluation for active duty military personnel with a history of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). She is also actively involved in research looking at cognitive outcomes following TBI. Dr. Babakhanyan earned her doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Loma Linda University, accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA). She also holds two Master’s degrees in Psychology, from Loma Linda University and Pepperdine University. She completed an APA accredited internship in Neuropsychology and a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Babakhanyan completed a Fellowship in neuropsychological research at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), where she investigated the effect of cognitive impairment on everyday functioning and psychological assessment tools.
