Massooda Paband is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (MSN-PMHNP-BC)
accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Working at the inpatient at Sharp Mesa
Vista Hospital, she has developed strong clinical skills caring for the geriatric and adult populations with
mental illnesses including; anxiety disorders, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, personality disorders,
substance use and addiction disorders. She also provides care for the outpatient clients in Cognitive
Intensive Outpatient Program, Dual Diagnosis IOP, and Transitional Age Youth (TAY) IOP at Mesa Vista.
She accomplished her Bachelors and Masters of Science in Nursing from National University. She
received a second Bachelors degree in Biological Science and Minor in Chemistry from California State
University of Fullerton. Massooda firmly believes in utilizing evidence-based research, innovative
technology combined with clinical experience for best treatment outcomes. She appreciates the
significance of establishing a therapeutic and an honest relationship with her clients. To her,
collaborating care with families and the multidisciplinary team members are as vital to an overall
optimal outcome.
Most importantly, Massooda takes pride in individualizing mental health care based on each personal
history, client concerns and the desired outcome. She is dedicated to apply her theoretical and practical
knowledge to improve clients’ quality of life.
